Our outpatient services and other programs are targeted to children and adolescents with emotional/behavioral problems.

We also provide an abuse shelter - HAVEN, a residential facility for girls in Conway.

Our Therapeutic Foster Care program provides many homes within our area. The Therapeutic Foster Care program is for children who have been abused or neglected. Therapeutic Foster Parents are the special people who care for youth under 18 years of age. Become a trained Therapeutic Foster Parent and join a talented team. We also provide school based mental health services at several school sites throughout our six county catchment area, as well as early intervention programs with area providers.

At CAI, we employ a rehabilitative approach that has made us a leader in helping severely mentally ill persons and their families function normally in their communities.

Provided are services such as case management, pre-vocational work activities, social programs, day treatment, transportation, medical services, medication management, patient assistance, and educational programs.

We also offer over 60 housing opportunities for individuals who are seriously and persistently mentally ill.

CAI professionals use the latest, most successful techniques in a warm and caring atmosphere to help individuals and families work out effective, lasting ways of dealing with alcohol and other drug problems.

In addition, we offer DWI programs and prevention services in schools.

We have also expanded services for persons with co-occurring disorders.

Recognizing that the availability of positive resources during a crisis can be critical to someone's future, Counseling Associates has developed a results-oriented emergency service which has been hailed as one of the best in Arkansas.

Our crisis team works with local officials and medical experts in order to provide 24-hour mental health emergency care for individuals experiencing crisis where there is potential for harm to self or others.

When a call is received, our specialists assess the situation and make referrals to the appropriate sources, and conduct follow up care.
